This unique, powerful building is located in one of the most beautiful spots of the Somogybabod hills, evoking the atmosphere of Transylvania. Ideal as a hunting lodge or a family home, it is complemented by a 5,510 square metre landscaped plot of land, which offers a relaxing break with magnificent views of the picturesque countryside.

The building is on three levels: the foundations are formed by a massive, terraced floor on which the ground floor and the attic are built, both of 30 cm diameter wooden logs. The roof is tiled, the windows and doors are made of wood with trelliswork, and the plinth is made of natural Tardos red limestone. Thanks to the log construction, the home is warm in winter and summer.

The building has an excellent energy rating, category CC, and is heated by a modern condensing boiler, which provides comfort through radiators and underfloor heating. The living room also has a cosy tiled stove in the centre of the living room, further adding to the warmth of the home. The house is fully utilised and is equipped with an alarm system, which can also receive cameras.

In the basement there is a four-car garage, a mechanical room, a laundry room, storage rooms and a gym with a bathroom with shower. On the ground floor, on the west side, a covered entrance terrace leads into the spacious central space where the living, dining and kitchen are all in one. From here stairs lead up to the attic and basement. On this level you will also find a pantry, guest toilet, study and the master bedroom with bathroom with bath and shower, walk-in wardrobe and a cosy café terrace. A north-facing terrace off the living room provides a convenient access to the garden.

The attic has a living room with a gallery, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a storage room. The basement has partly painted and ceramic or panelled walls, with ceramic tiles on the floor. The floor of the central space on the ground floor is covered with polished Tardos limestone and the walls are made of painted logs. The other rooms have tiled flooring and walls partly panelled and partly of natural log construction.

The north-south facing plot is still being landscaped, but a large wooden outbuilding has already been constructed to store tools. The plot has its own well, the yard is paved and accessed via a remote controlled gate.
